The METISfiles was founded in 2011 and is an initiative of three veterans in the ICT research industry:
Marcel Warmerdam: Partner and Principal Analyst. Marcel is leading the METISfiles Connected Worker research theme. Before establishing the METISfiles, Marcel was Associate Vice President for IDC’s Global Research Organisation. Marcel started out as a programmer analyst for a Dutch software house.
Simone de Bruin: Associate Analyst. Simone is responsible for The METISfiles Partner Ecosystem Research. Prior to the METISfiles, Simone worked for IDC EMEA as a research manager software partnering & alliances. Simone started her career at Gilde Investment Management, a Dutch Venture Capitalist.
Pim Bilderbeek: Distinguished Analyst. Pim is leading the METISfiles Elastic Enterprise research theme. Before establishing the METISfiles, Pim was Vice President European Telecommunications Consulting at research firm IDC. Pim also worked for TNO as senior business consultant and as independent consultant at bilderbeek consulting.
